What's so special about the Vengeance version? According to Valve, both retail and Steam versions of HL2 have the problem. A patch has been released for both via Steam. Does the Vengeance release have the patch incorporated somehow?

Vengeance version has all patches applied already...you really are a snappy person. You need to chill out.Originally Posted by Supernatural

Sorry man. The stuttering REALLY got on my nerves. I managed to finish the game, so it doesn't really matter anymore. I subsequently aquired the Vengeance release, and it's alot better. You are wrong about it being pre-patched, though. I had the download the v7 update seperately.
No, I meant Vengeance/Emporio's own patches, that stop the AI bug, and other things ((Stuttering, node rebuild..))Originally Posted by Supernatural
Not retail patches.

You must be talking about the steam launcher. That's more of an emulator than a patch. One thing's for sure, it IS alot better than Emporio's.
its called loading. no ammount of leet hacks can stop that unless you got a truckload of RAM
I have 1GB of RAM... more than enough to load a CS map. But like I said, it doesn't last very long.

No, I am talking about Vengeance's own little tweak patches. Stop trying to correct me.Originally Posted by Supernatural
