Kick and rush has never impressed me.
I'm not including Dalglish in that, btw, he was an excellent player.
That Liverpool side of the late 70s and 80s would be mediocre by todays standards. It was a particularly poor time for European football. Coincidently - or not - it got a lot better a few years after English teams were banned.
Piss poor match....first half was at least entertaining (not in the right way) but the 2nd half, England were shit and the racial abuse was a total disgrace.
My 2 penneth worth on tonights not so beautiful game...
Oh...btw....why were England back passing so much, they didn't get the ball much, and when they did....back it went....to and fro....why didn't they ATTACK!!! ffs...poor, poor, poor....shitty passing, standing around like a bunch of lemons...
