Everytime I reformat or something, this folder is always there. It's on other friend's computers too. I've tried deleting it, but it say's it's being used by another program. Although I can delete it in safe mode. But does this folder serve any purpose?

ya it's part of a normal windows xp isntallation.

not sure why it's there...i think it might have something to do with the imaging software in xp.

just rename it from safemode (or disable windows file protection) and see if stuff still works.
    if so delete it.
    if not then dont.

it's not a big folder anyway.

Just googled it, Apparently it only appears on OEM versions of XP or in my case illegal versions.
According to the site the nwwia folder inside it is a xerox driver for a printer.

I dunno see if you can make more sence out of it. It's 2:46 AM here maybe things will start making more sence once I've had some sleep lol.
I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

Just leave it there. It doesn't cause any problems.
