    Surprised/Amazed

i cannont copy some of my software from disk to my hdrive. my pc says cannot copy from source disk.

i think the cd rom must have some sort of privacy lock n it or somthing.
is there a way around it???

    what is the cd?
i doubt it's a privacy lock...probably a scratch in the disc or it's just dirty.

You cannot just take a retail cd, put it in your cd tray, highlight and copy all of the files.
