i uninstalled some software from my pc.
before i started to uninstall, HD space left was 10.7GB
after uninstall, HD space left is still 10.7GB
i used 'disk cleanup' and also the left over folders from 'program files', but still 10.7 GB left.
is there another way i could try to see if i've uninstalled everything i wanted?

Yes,its called formating.I hope i helped another person today.Tell then adieu

P.S. truly the way to see if you have uninstalled everything is to check the registry for any left over entries.I have to say the whole bit about the disk space is well rather "your point is" type of a thing.10.7 WILL ALWAYS EQUAL 10.7.My point is you wount gain much space as the software must only be megabytes long. Not hundreds of mega bytes. That or your page file may be taking up space.

Three programs that took up 2GB of space?
    They must have been monsters.

If you're removing all Adobe products (including the ridiculously huge AdobeReader, there's a good free pdf reader at www.foxitsoftware.com ), check your personal folders for application settings. For example, with WinXP browse to:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Adobe\
    Also you may find:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\
    and
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe Systems Shared\
if your font size is this small i'll add you to my ignore list because you're wasting my time, OK?
