    I think it's possibly Stephen King's best book, mind I formed that opinion when I was about fourteen. Looking back, his books are rubbish.

    I'm not sure how it impacted on society at large but it gave me a slight phobia of clowns, I'm over that now
    I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

    Haven't read IT either.

    Have trouble with horror books these days but will give it a go.
