    Surprised/Amazed

I am trying to do a Windows update but i keep getting this error:

    0x80072EE2

I have searched it on Yahoo and it will give you some pages. I'm not sure what it is about.

Can anyone tell me what i may need to do to enable this to happen. The automatic updates on xp are activated.

    Thanks

Make sure that the Startup type for the Automatic Updates service is set to "Automatic". Having that service running but set to "Manual" startup is not sufficient for some reason, even if you have Automatic Updates turned off.
