You're having the same prob's I was. I couldn't get rid of the square look. I always had a white boxey background. If you open it in PS, it appears to have a transparent background and I even saved it as such, but when I changed the icon, it appeared as a square. I would like it to appear circular so it matches the other icons I have up. Any suggestions?

I've got what you've got. The square boxey stuff I get if I make it an icon looks like this:

I want it to look circular like the other icons on my desktop (see original post with screenshot)

I see what you mean now. You have to make a icon with a transparent background:

    Alright, several things:

    1. How did you save it with a transparent background? That's what I was so unsuccessful with.

    2. How come when I used that icon it came out blurry?

    3. How do you insert a file into a post?

    1. What app are you using. I am using Photoshop/Axialis IconWorkshop 5.0. You will need to explore the app you are using more to find out how.

    2. You most likely are re-sizing it to a smaller size and/or including "blank space"

    3. Click Additional Options down there when you post.

Yeah, but look how it is when I unzip it: Way to small. But why?

if u are saving as jpeg it will automatically fill the blank space with white. You have to save as a gif to have transparency.
