upload probelms

hi, let me explain my situation. I just got a 2mb connection happy with that i was anxious to test my speeds on bittorrent, unfourtunatley due to my plan i can only upload at 192kb/s and are therefore unable to get the high download speeds that is should. so my question is, is there any way of getting around this, or a client where download speed is not proportional to upload speed? I would still upload as much as i could though. i'm only looking for a way to utilise my fast connection(well to me anyway).

do you use a router? if so you need to port forward it.
