I know I was a bit quieter then but when Musleman and Sharedholder - and DWk, I suppose - got banned, I always considered it to be really pointless.


SH amd MM were good for the board in that they helped the newbies. SH helped me a couple of times and always posted latest soft releases.

To ban them for linking to their board was poor modding. Their tool things are freeware. After all I link to t'moderation and the free GEP all the time without so much as a PM.

I reckon haxor deserved his ban, I'd like to see him back but it's hardly likely. Billy dean is a racist cawk who has no place among sane folk and deserves his ban but the Klite tool people did hardly anything wrong.

Let em back, if they still want to.

I believe the official line was that every post to help someone involved them going and signing up on KLT and finding it out there. Something to do with repetetive spamming

The ensuing threads bitching about it didn't help.

They turned a reasonable request (don't spam your own forum on this forum) into a full blown flame war. Eventually people got sick of it and when you all were banned (for whatever reasons) there wasn't a lot of argument from other members.
