    125/125kb/s

total dump. 1mbit is just old school and means downloading is a pain in the ass.

what can i do? in brazil -> sp speeds are a piece of shit anyway.

might upgrade to a 2mbit, but the availablke 4mbit is highly unstable (or so i hear).

adsl:1.5Mbs down/256Kbs up ... but the "local area connection" icon says my speed is 12.0Mbs ...

    currently:
dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-05-02 20:51:52 EST:
    895 / 81
    Your download speed : 895 kbps or 111.9 KB/sec.
That is 66% worse than an average user on bellsouth.net

    Your upload speed : 81 kbps or 10.1 KB/sec.
That is 72.5% worse than an average user on bellsouth.net

This is with eMule running (up:14.9/down:32.2)

Yes I know there should be nothing running during a speed test
