I pay for a 3mbps download line, but obviously, how often do people get what they pay for?
Next poll should be asking the upload speed..
1-56kbps (dialup speeds)
57-256kbps (slow dsl, slow cable, or ISDN)
266kbps-1mbps (average dsl and cable speeds in UK and US)
1-2.5mbps (pretty fast dsl or cable)

I pay for 12 mbps but in real i only get speeds between 4.5 mbps 5.1, the provider said that's because the distace (milles) from my house to what they call 'Central point'
But i'll prefer much more having up than dwl, only 416 kbps....so poor
Can't wait to get rid of my cable connection, lack of FIOS in my area while all my friends have it is KILLING me....
