I think Sayhid was right and that guy was one of the others, cause of the way the guy tried to switch the interrogation to Sayhid when Sayhid got upset about Shannons death. Plus the Rousou (sp)has been living on the Island for 16 years she would know who to trust and who not too trust.
I'm starting to think that Darhma was one of those cold war testing silos and they put ppl there to see if they could live in the silos and then forgot about them, what do you think?

I really think I am right about the symbols and the bunkers being missle silos.
Spoiler: ShowThe hatch is a nuclear missile silo.
Why:
It is protected by a thick concrete barrier.
There are blast doors to protect the crew.
There are weapons for site protection.
The computers banks are used as telemetry controls.
The satellite (108 minutes) is a launch window. Plus did you know that 4+8+15+16+23+42=108?
The sound of blast doors opening when the countdown was reached. (Locke shut it down before the main ignition)
The symbols -- bird (represents a flying projectile); fire (represents launch); arrow (represents a nuclear missile).
The "incident" most likely involves the launching of an earlier missile from the silo that we saw being used by the "tailies" and is now abandoned.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Zoomed in on the pic and then remembered that Kate went to see her Stepdad shortly after setting fire to her house - and that he was a military man.
It seems that with every other flashback, we get to see how the survivor's lives were interweaved before they crash-landed on the island. The two mentioned above from the last coupla episodes, Swayer and Jack's Dad, Jack and Boone & Shannon's (step)Dad, Eko's brother, Jack and the Scottish hatch guy, Hurley appearing on Korean TV - and loads more that I can't remember atm.
I don't think even the writers have decided upon the significance yet
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -
