Thread: Photoshop how do you add a backgorund image ?

  1. #1
I have a background erased image of a bikini model and want to add various backgrounds to her.

I have found lots of Photoshop Tutorials on how to exract and background erase, but can't find one on adding images as backgounds or combining images.

Any quick suggestions on how to do this. I am a complete newbie to Photoshop, (used Paintshop a bit over last 4 years)

    Regards

    Digby

Search google for photo effects or photo manipulation.

    Also, try these:

Good video tutorials here. Be patient though, the page takes a minute to load initially but it's worth the wait: http://www.lombergar.com/v4/list/tutorials

Good dedicated photoshop forum here: http://photoshoptechniques.com/forum/

just open the background, then copy and paste the bikini lady onto the picture.

and use the blur brush to soften the edges of your bikini lady...usually the edges show a bit of roughsness after extracting them...don't make the blur too large or it will stand out...use the history pallette if it's too much

all you do is you cut the picture of the girl out with the lasso tool, and then paste her on the new background file...

use lasso tool for rough outline, then use quick mask (black brush to fill in, white brush to erase) then....copy/paste and then blur edges, a "little"
