Ive used this a few times to recover files on various drives, including one that had been fully formatted and XP installed.

There is another one. Its the only one Ive used. Its just called 'Restoration'

Correct, and Restoration is freeware, fits on a floppy, no need to install and it can delete files it has found.

I used Restoration to recover my MP3 Folder and most of them came up corrupted , songs mixed , or wrong labeled songs
