    hey i've got the k-lite mega codec pack install with other codecs but when i'm watching say.. a movie; 530mb in size but when watching the sound is out of place? what is happening .. should i try and install some divx codecs?

    i personally use the k-lite codec pack 2.34 is the latest i think. if that doesn't work i try another player, probably videolan (i normally use powerdvd 6 to view my films).

    if it's still there, i'd say you have a shitty copy, and to d/l a new one.

    If it is only with that particular file, then it could be a poorly encoded movie.

    It also might be that the movie is, as you said, poorly encoded...
    Since I got a PC with DVD burner, I donīt download that bigger files,
    but the same thing happend a few times to me.
    On the other hand, do you have the AC3 Filter, or something like that instaled?
    it helps...
    I never became much of an expert but I learned a few things.
