I've seen that one. I think that's really a bad idea to have both sockets.

    1. any opponent of technological progress.
    2. one of the 19th century English workmen who destroyed labor-saving machinery that they thought would cause unemployment.
I assume you are referring to the first definition.

The second refers to a group of saboteurs, but without the sandals. Somehow that doesn't seem to fit VB. I feel sure he has sandals.

    Yes, almost certainly.
Unfortunately, given his aversion to dual-purpose gear, when he upgrades his feet he will have to purchase new ones.

I don't oppose technological progress. In fact I think the board should only have socket 939 because that's more advanced technology. And with a 90nm CPU, even better.

    Those feet however...

    Oh puleeeeze....
Trying to impress us with your hip terminology and high-falootin airs.

I happen to know that you have Canada's largest working collection of Quantum Bigfeet and consider every processor since the slotted Intels to be "overkill" and "not terribly practical or necessary".

Trying to pick up babes here in Hworld by slinging around such exotic phrases as "socket 939" and the like will only lead to sorrow and perdition young man....I would suggest you look long and hard at your ways.
Perhaps you can be saved before it's too late.

But get new sandals in any case.

No but there are plenty of Inuit suppliers further north than me. So no need for Birkinstock.

Is it really true that the Inuit language has 200 words for "snow" and not a single one for "socket 939"?
