    Check out Mesh Computers.

It's where I get mine from. I'm sure you could get something far better for that money, including an OS.

Well I have a problem recommending what you have listed. The parts don't show the manufacture's names.

What I mean is... Who makes the RAM, HDD, DVD±RW or DVD-ROM.

Even the CPU. It doesn't say if it's a 754 pin or 939 pin.

The motherboard seems to support both 754 and 939 but again, who makes it?

    I'll take curtain #3, Bob.

    Oh look!
I've won the George Forman Personal Computer/Grill Combo!

    wOOt!

    Really guy...listen to VB.
That could be an excellent deal, but it's unlikely.
If they were using quality ( or even brand-name) components, they would for sure brag about it.

Same thing I was gonna say. If they come from reputable companies, than yes, this is probably a good buy. Problem is though, if they were reputable companies their names would probably be listed in order to help push the sale. Worth looking into though.

If you're gonna spend about that much, look here. Holiday discount on this one. These are the same brand that I have and I love it.

I think it is this motherboard. It has both Socket 754 and Socket 939 (with dual channel memory control) but obviously you could only use one socket at any one time.

If they can do both sockets for that price, I would guess the quality is going to be lacking elsewhere.

    no you can't use a 64bit chip(754/939) on a socket A motherboard.
