No, Half life 2 had awesome puzzles and story line. But i played halo 1 on the pc , and the game just didnt seem unique to me... The story line just looked like something ripped off from Star Trek , and pretty much just a bit too linear...
i gave this game a 5/5 i think but , but halo 2 did feel lacking of one element or another like it was WAY overhyped and it didnt live up to it imo but yea its still a great game a very good game

yup halo2 was overhyped and it didnt turn out to be what i (we) expected it to. halo1 is the kinda game ppl can play over and over again w/o getting bored, but i dont think anyone can argue with the fact that halo2's multiplayer is like a blackhole, once you get sucked in there's no coming back
