I've just unplugged mine...I'm going to buy a new one and use that for storing a back-up of all my gep and music (which I don't listen to when I go to sleeep).Originally Posted by manker

No because I couldn't sleep with the music on
WTF?
I've had a 120g HD sittingo in the box next to my work PC for over a week now. I want it to store all my stuff that I can't be arsed to burn, mostly music. I cant be arsed to reboot and open the case tho'Originally Posted by Withcheese
Why can't a hardware upgrade be like a software upgrade
My one that's gone down is a 160gb one. I've moved all stuff awaiting to be burned onto it and will only switch it on when I feel like doing said burning. (Switching it on involves turning the computer off and sticking a power cable in).Originally Posted by manker
Next student loan I think I will buy the biggest and quietest HD that money can buy.
But I still won't be listening to music when I sleep.
Hrm your's is bigger than mine.
Btw where is Dan today. Tis eerily quiet without him.
Also I wonder if DanB listens to music when he sleeps
Edit: DId you get my subtle mainstream punk reference in my first reply to you. DId it because I thought I'd better stay on topic in a music thread.
I couldn't be arsed with it as I couldn't quite remember how to do it and Rossco - the inconsiderate bastard - wasn't online cause he's gone to school, so couldn't give me a quick fix.
I'm off out to the pub in a sec and I do have partition magic on a CD somewhere so the fact I've just dissed HardwareWorld in the EATB section shouldn't matter too much
I'm not sure if Ross sleeps with music on, I'm guessing not
Some of the time i do.Mostly ambient music. But some time i listion to the donnie darko soundtrack cd real creepy for sleeping.Normal music is just too up beat for me at night.Once i make a cd to help me have dreams Did not work.
