    In the tools>options>connections>advances is proxy server enabled/automatic detection of proxy enabled?

    it should be disabled.

    Sure looks like some sorta blocker, like maybe one built into a fw or something...

    You sure have alot of questions for a new member. Oh well so did I a year ago. Anywho I just wanted to know, because if you had a 56k connection then it would just be the images not loading or something. Are you running a proxy?

    No I actually don't ask too many questions as I'm a pretty resourceful guy. I do have two threads running that contain different Photoshop questions but if you read this one, I'm trying to fix a problem for a friend and since I had this problem awhile back and it was answered here, I thought maybe it could be answered here again.

    ps I'm not new here or new to computers or whatever you were suggesting, I just changed names when the board changed a couple months ago.
