I.
1. Cut out around person you want to paste on backdrop with the lasso tool, ctrl+C them into your clipboard.
II.
1. Open up backdrop
2. Paste the person onto the backdrop, and adjust position.
PLUS
EQUALS
IS THIS WHAT YOU MEAN??

If the contrast between the person and the background he's on is big enough,you're better off with the magic eraser.
Saves you a lot of time and trouble.
The edge around the person will be cleaner too that way.
