    You can get a Bloody Monster 5700 for $87.50 from Newegg. But a 5700LE is basically an updated 5200 (faster ramdac, GL1.5 c/f GL1.4) so it depends whether you think the extra $20 is worthwhile.

    Member number two in this thread that confuses PCI with PCI express. I can see that they made a mistake naming it that. I think Express Graphics Port or EGP would have been a better name.

    About this thread... I think that you should consider replacing the motherboard. It would cost almost the same but offers more potential for later upgrades.

    @lynx, if you take a closer look, the bloody monster is a 5700LE even though it's in 5700 section.

    agreed... PCI Express should be changed to another name...too much room for error/confusion.... "EGP" works, make it happen.
