I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

--Good for them if they survive.

    @ Cheese.

This poll spurred me into action:

    --------------------------------

Title: Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever or Captain Tripps

    Concerning this thread.

An aspiring Tom Selleck attempted to fool the whole lounge today with an account of how his 13 year old brother died of a mystery disease. An account of this mystery disease is contained mainly within the first post of the above thread but also in subsequent posts, if you're feel like you want to get a real flavour for this poll.

I'm asking whether you think this mystery illness sounds more like Captain Tripps - made up disease that ended civilisation in The Stand - or Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever.

Here is a little background on each.

Captain Tripps was the nickname of a kind of Superflu that basically made a man drown in his own phlegm. It was highly contagious and had a 99% mortality rate.

    Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever is

    --------------------------------

That was as far as I got before I noticed the thread had been deleted. It was going to be put in the serious poll section and to have the two options (plus a stfu).

    Now we will never know

Don't forget I reckoned it was a mutant strain of CCHF. It has all the same symptons but also turns you into a bad actor and causes you to play bad music...loudly.

Yeah but in a straight hand-to-hand fight?

A level playing field so to speak.
