Yea I installed the version 8 off Emporio and it works except the map de_prodigy is totally fucked up. If I install Half Life 2 Update1-PROViSiON in my just updated CS directory will it work?

Emporio Update 8 works good.
there is no official update 8!!
check with your version the new map.... lots and lots of errors...
Half.Life.2.Update1-PROViSiON is the only patch that works correct.

yes !
i used the update 1 - provision on my emporio release and everything works good. the only thing i noticed was some glitches on the new map, still playable tho.

i used the update 1 crackfix but i still see some glitches in the new map, not as many now
