I never did watch the Batman cartoon much... it was the only descriptive word I could think of at the time, I swear.

Read the comics, they are pretty awesome. The cartoons are enjoyable but they aren't...what's that word? Canon?

I wouldn't know what to suggest reading first. Maybe Knightfall would be a good start, a great series about the downfall of Batman.

There's a lot of comics of Batman though...all available through the various filesharing apps we all know and love.

I'm downloading a 5gb file from that site you linked me to of Batman comics, looks like there is a lot in there.

Just wish it was easier to read comics on a monitor...
