Anyone else have this problem? I am using the latest version, but it slows my browsing so much I have to turn it off completely.

This is odd as I have used normal emule for ages with no problems of it using excess bandwidth.

I am wondering if I can do something about it, or I might just uninstall, and go back to the regular client. Do like the look of plus tho...

Lower the upload speed. I set mines to 20 KB/s max.

They recommend no more than 80% of your total speed be used for both downloading and uploading.

When I go to bed and leave it running, it's set at 80%, but when I'm online and browsing I normally lower them both to around 60-70%. It doesn't really affect me that much though as I have broadband.

You plan on getting BB soon Sara?

I'm guessing your upload speed is 128 Kbps, which is equivalent to about 16 KB/s. Set your upload speed below 16. I suggest 10 or less

You can thank ISPs who are cheap with the uploading bandwidth.
