    Istsvc.exe
    Behavior
Adware.Istbar is an adware component, which does one or more of the following:

    Installs an Internet Explorer toolbar
Acts as a Home page and search hijacker
Pops up advertisements, often pornographic in nature

    Symptoms

The existence of the file: C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\ISTsvc.exe.

The files are detected as Adware.Istbar.

    Transmission
Various distribution channels exist. For example, Adware.Istbar can be downloaded and installed from affiliate sites, typically pornographic in nature.

...Now i've ran ad-aware and many different spyware remover tools ... and norton. but still it says it got rid of it but it comes back up on reboot...help

go to WINDOWS. And look for the file their, I had a similar problem a while ago. I'd delete the things but they'd re-appear on the desktop on reboot. Go to your WINDOWS files location and look for it their and delete it - that'll be it gone for good

I have ad-aware pro installed. I did a search, and found no such file. You might think about installing the pro version, to see if that will get rid of it.

PM me, if you don't have another resourse for the Pro.

    after deleting C:\Program Files\ISTsvc folder
search teh registry for any references to the file ISTsvc.exe and delete (only do this if you know what your doing) or use a registry healer
