Alright, I tried to uninstall a program through ADD-Remove programs, and it took 1 hour for the "collecting data" to move a half a millimiter in the progress bar. So I said to myself screw that, so I went to where the program was located in Program files, and deleted it. Then I went to my registry cleaner/fixer, and ran it, found 1000 problems after what I had just done. Fixed them, ran it again, found a couple more, and fixed those. Then I used another program to delete the entry in the Add-Remove Programs Window. My question is. Is that all I need to do to toally uninstall the program? The program was Half Life 2, Collector's Edition by the way.

The registry cleaners do not find all the errors. or references to that program
i also seriously suggest you use a program like Registry Detecive http://www.pcmag.com/data_process_ya...page=&discuss=
to search and locate all the references to that program you deleted - or simply use regedit and search for "that program" and delete the entriies (but becareful what you delete-only delete the "stand alone" references.
either search for the program name ie norton and the company name ie symantec
youll defenitly find tons of references still in the registry.
after doing this run your registry cleaner again
    enjoy

Eh whatever this is good enough, I just didnt want the PC thinking the game was still installed on the computer. Thank you 15% for typing all of that, I will probably need it in the future sometime. But I still use Valve products so I dont think I want to go searching for every last registry thing. Thanks everyone.
