well for now its just WMP10
i know i know, but until i can totally get rid of it....why not?
the sound is better than winamp (at least to my ears) and v10 isnt as shit as v9
actually v10 is quite decent as far as M$ apps go
i toyed with BS player, but didnt last long with it
what i been meanin to get 'n try is foobar, heard good things about it
or Quintessential Player, supposed to be nice too
but blah, who knows? i'm on a different mobo/chipset now....
maybe my old system just didnt like winamp...
may give it another go

play around with the equalizer in winamp, get some sound enhancement plugins. there are lost of them.

You probably meant "lots. I dislike the audio quality much in Windows Media Player((Equalizer Wise)). In Winamp I feel you can maniuplate the sound much better, making it more ear-friendly. My favorite preset in Winamp is the "Rock" setting.

@15%...I have double instances of Java, because one is an older version, and the next instance is the update. All of those Norton Repeates, are Internet Security Updates. And the Firefox instances, one is an older version, and the next one is the update.

well i dont even mess with EQ settings in media players
i use the AC 97 audio controller for that
that way its a system wide setting, dont have to set each player

well i dont even mess with EQ settings in media players
i use the AC 97 audio controller for that
that way its a system wide setting, dont have to set each player

i think you're really missing out on what winamp offers. you didn't change the EQ?! no wonder you thought it sounded like shit. a flat EQ is useless. if you ever do get winamp, turn on the EQ & go presets>load>preset... & select Rock or something.
