Hi, can someone please tell me how to delete some for good? I think i got this spywear thingy where random pop ups are appearing and I can see this one file that is called ISTsvc and it's coming from there but when i delete it, it comes back next time i restart. I even went to safe mode and delete it from there but still no good. Is there another way? and i turned off system restore.

Edit: I always get this message when I go to other websites.

It say the web page you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window. If i push yes a pop up appear and if I click no then the message appear again =\

    Try installing Yahoo-Toolbar, which is free. (http://toolbar.yahoo.com/?.cpdl=goog) It's both a popup & Spyware blocker/remover

1.) Download the following freeware (free) programs.

    Spybot-S&D - Search & Destroy
    LavaSoft Ad-aware
    CWShredder
    [/url]

These will help you clean out any possible spyware or adware that could be causing your browser / windows problems.

2.) Next download these as well

SpywareBlaster -- by Java Cool Software
SpywareGuard -- by Java Cool Software

These programs do something that windows should. They prevent many spyware & adware programs, from even being installed or reinstalled.

3.) Update & run all the above
4.) If the first three programs found spyware / adware, reboot after cleaning, then rescan
5.) Once everything has been done & cleaned, reboot. Even if you've done so already.

6.) If you're not using some kind of anti-virus scan, you really should & you'd be glad to know, there are some free onces out there.

    Avast 4Home
    AVG
