    IS THIS A GOOD OPERATION SYSTEM and easy to use like 2000 and xp beacuse im thinking of downloading it

    and installing and i wanted to know before i do JUST IN CASE lol

    If you wanna d/l it make sure you set up a new partition to install it in (use partition magic).
    At the moment Longhorn is in an alpha stage and you can not install any software or set up a dial up connection so its kinda useless as an os (apart from evaulation)!

    Yes it does have a pretty gui but the main reason for M$ producing it is for the support of 64bit cpu architecture.

    i still havent found a working longhorn... well the hashes i got didnt find any sources...

    OMG this damn question has been asked to many times and the answer is no.

    It is alpha and is buggy as f*ck. Dont make the mistake as installing as main OS some ppl have done tha and complain about many of the problems it has.

    If u really want to use it install on a seconf partition and dual boot and just try it out.

    Wait for at least beta!

    If ya got 2 computers, give it a try otherwise, not worth the hassle (unless it impresses the ladies, of course...)
