¨Vietguy¨, I think that what the guys here said is right, well, at least in my case, there where too many leechers, so, that is not good for a BT download.

im on a 768kb/s broadband (or somethin glike that) and get download speed of 130kb/s..im a member of TB2 and ET and they have good seeder/leecher ratios...however i still get in excess of 100 when i used nova or something similar. try using bittornado as the client...solved myproblems. i upload pathetically though...max 20...so its hard for me to keep my ratio...but of course i do it.love bittorrent!

edit:ive never had to fiddle with port crap and firewalls...all you have to do is unistall azureus (which is better for experienced ppl) and install bittornado...cos it does all the port crap for you and i'm always connectable..so no need with firewalls
    hope it helps

my max dl is 500ish, highest ever being 589 kb/s (DoomIII when it came out last summer).

edit: that's BT speed, my Ares speed is usually 90kb/s-200kb/s avg. depending on what i download, and i mostly download stuff that's readily available. slowest speed would have to go to Emule at a nice steady avg dl speed of 2 kb/s my avg UL speed on BT is 60 kb/s, highest being 90 kb/s
