Ok i'm not trying to slate any perticular genre of music here, but:
is it just me or do the majority of americans perceive what the brits and europeans would call dance they would call techno??
Personally i perceive techno to be a more percussian, rythemic based "sub" genre of dance music.
Then alongside techno you would have: house, trance, progressive house, commercial dance, etc....

And Moby = Techno..... i dont think so, thats like calling The Clash a disco group!!
Nothing against Eminem but take a look at your own music before slagging other peoples off?

And no i dont hate americans, i just thought i would get my point accross.

    Shin-
Thinking you know something is okay-don't let Dude talk you out of it!

Couldn't Techno be defined as "synthesized dance music"? Or are it's European origins too deeply rooted to allow such a simplification?
