I got a copy of Doom 3, installed it using mounted images on Alcohol, everything fine so far.
Went to start it up and it said "Please insert Doom 3 disc 1"
So I mounted it and it did'nt work, so I burnt the 3 discs to dvd disc using nero as an ISO disc.
Now I realise people will be rolling their eyes at me but before I start wasting discs could someone please point me in the right direction?

I think that you need to check that the "Emulation" settings have been set up

PS I think Doom 3 uses Safedisc 3 protection

Sorry, there is an emulation setting on alcohol (it is at the bottom of the option section in the main window)

What version of Doom 3 is it


EDIT: Have you check the disc to see if there is a no-cd crack on it

Dunno what version it is, this is the file name DOOM3-multilanguage+AllinOne(Cracks+Mods+Covers+Serverlists)

No nocd crack in there.

So what emulation do I set it at?

Edit: Just burnt disc 1 as data on cd and that did'nt work either
Has it gotta be burnt as an iso disc?

You need the "No CD crack".

Replace the doom3.exe (or whatever the file is called) in the installation folder (eg C:\Program Files\Doom 3\) with the one you downloaded
