There’s a pull-out keyboard shelf but it’s not very sexay. The printer won’t be there soon so it’s shelf could be destroyed

You don't have to be old to be tall. Shaquille O'Neal was 6'9" at the age of 13. I know that's an extreme case, but still. As for me, I'm 21.
