HP Printer

Looking to get myself a new printer, and would like some recommendations.

Obviously, don't want to spend too much on this, but at the same time, want a decent one.

I'm definately after a HP Printer and it has to be an 'All-In-One' or 'Multifunctional', i.e Prints, Scans, Copies etc...

Memory card inserts would be a great plus too.

Here's a pic of a HP PSC2355, as an idea of what I'd like. No, I'm not neccessarily after an LCD screen.

It's nice. It really is. However you said you paid $120, although it's normally $145.

Yeah it's a joke isn't it.

What get's me, is that all of us in the UK know it'd be far cheaper to purchase electricals etc from abroad. Was going fine until the UK companies were getting pissed off and now the majority of US companies for example aren't allowed to ship internationally.

I don't want to pay, say £150 ($280) on a printer that I know is getting sold for less than half that. It would feel like I'm throwing money away you know

If you want Print/Scan/Copy, but don't need fax, you could get the HP PSC 1315. It's the printer I have.

It has pretty much everything you'd need (exept fax), and it isn't all that huge and bulky, and its only $99.00.

I just noticed this on Amazon... looks ok, but as it's a 'Photo' printer, will it print documents and letters fine?

if you take the whole thing into equation the canon may be the cheaper choice, as it seems to have the cheapest inks. so if your doing alot of printing, itll work out in the long run,

also the canon smartbase mp370 also has a card slot, not sure of the differences between the mp370 and mp390 though canon doesnt list the specs for the 390
