Thread: Dell 300m SD slot

  1. #1
I have this Dell 300m which has a slot for me to put my SD (Secure Digital) card into. However every time I do it says there is something wrong, im not sure if I have the right drive and I have no clue where to find it. I looked all over dell and got no help, and even used the resource CD with all the drivers and got no help. Is there some kind of hardware or software problem, and if so where would I find the right driver to use?

This is the device instance ID PCMCIA\RICOH-BAY1CONTROLLER-F03E\1

initially i would say go to Dell for the latest updates but...

www.driverguide.com has the driver you need.

free registration required, then do start a search for "removable drive"

    hope that works for you.

note: if using WinXP, you can "roll back" the driver to your current one if this
    doesn't work.
