I know the title makes no sence, but the thing is this,
I downloaded a 350mb video, that is suposed to be an .avi file, using Azureus, and then I think I re-started my PC without shutting off Azureus properly,so then when I started it again, it said that I hadnt closed it right and bla bla....,
and the video is there, in the folder I saved it, it even plays in the DivX Player without truble, but in the file tipe, were it should say ¨Video Clip¨, it says ¨file¨, it doesn´t even have the Video Icon. so, my concern is that it might not be playable in the Philips DVD.

Is there a way to fix it?

    yea, right...
No, it solved, What I did was that I figured, if DivX played it, VirtutualDubb will too, and it did, so I just open it with it and saved it as .avi.
    It worked.

Well, essentially, what you did then was rename the file to filename.avi, unless of course you were using full processing mode. (I think the others were going for renameing the file, even tho it might not be very clear ^^)
