    Sick

    Ok fellas heres the problem...

I have a 1.5Mb broadband connection using the NTL 200 (ambit 351000) and i am using Bit Tornado to download torrent files, however i am only getting download speeds of 20 Kbs and upload speeds of 15 Kbs.

I feel that i am not doing my part in uploading enough files and feel like a dirty leecher!!!!!.

My computer is a 3.2Ghz P4, 1Gb of RAM and 160 Gig hard drive so i dont think the hardware is the problem.

What i really need is a step by step tutorial specific to my broadband modem with regards to port forwarding etc.

Oh by the way i have turned off the firewall, zone alarm etc, running xp home with SP2 and i have also adjusted the amount of people i can connect to as i was told SP2 caps this at 10

I am at a complete loss so any help at all would be appreciated

Keep your firewall up. Just let bittorrent through it.

What status does your client show?

    What router do you have?

    Connect to more peers
Change ports for the client you are using (in settings or prefs.)

What type of a router you got? Go to their site, they will tell you how to port forward.
