    may someone please tell me what's best ports to download from on Bittorrent ?

    well, it really doesn't matter in terms of dl speeds etc, but apparently some ISPs have been throttling certain ports that p2p programs, such as bittorrent, use. Also, some torrent websites blacklisted the default bittorrent ports. So I would suggest just jusing random ports, that is what I did when I wanted to use a site that blacklisted. Hope that helps.

    a range within the region 49152 through 65535 is preferable
    for example: 49152 - 49162

    no reason to open more ports than needed, you should find out what your client required, Bitcommet for example only uses one port for all DL's so you only need to forward one port through your router, and open one port in your firewall... some clients use one for each torrent, thus you have to open enough for how many torrents you wish to run simulataneously

    i like using port numbers higher than 50,000...maybe 54584
