I downloaded Firefox just to give it a try, started downloading the Winamp install file, didn't like Firefox, closed the download and uninstalled firefox... But now there is the Winamp partial setup file on my Desktop that can't be deleted cause it gives a "Being used by another person or program error"

    Try Gipo-Utilities.

When you install it, it will give you the option to delete object on the next boot on your right click menu. It's always worked for me.

Just checking out the site now and it looks like you have to pay, never used to be, but they're giving away old versions at the bottom of the page. I have version 1.9.5.

U can also just try using Nero Burning Rom and then select the file like u are going to make a cd or whatever and then instead just delete that file most times that works.

Excellent program to see what process is "locking" the file...
Then crash\kill that process and delete from Command prompt
