Playstation 2 Vcd / Divx

Any ideas guys? I know of the technique of converting the sound into .wav and the video into mpeg1, but thats not too good if you want to fit anything bigger then 10 minutes long on a disk.

Sounds to me like there might be a program that you can put on a disk that the ps2 will load, which will allow for this. Any ideas?

just go to this thread..it will probably answer your questions....u can currently play divx/xvid on ur ps2 but u have to wait a while in order to play vcd and svcd....
