    Hi, magnu.

Half pints! What sort of teenagers existed back then, chavs nowadays sneak bottles of fortified wine and Woodpecker into pubs -- and I don't think you're that old, I think I know at least three, maybe even four, people who are older than that. You're young compared with them

Just kidding, welcome to the board
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

--Good for them if they survive.

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

Then there was, making dens, Bob A Job Week, puddings after your dinner, scrumping apples, eating dinner at the table, ape hanger handlebars for yer (push)bike, harringtons, parkas with the red lining... (my mum could only afford one with green lining, it wasn't the same), rupert trousers, tank tops, steakwich, Aztec bars, platform shoes (for boys!), afgham coats (did they smell or what?), flares, bell-bottoms, brogues, paddling down the brook fishing for sticklebacks, rolling apples out onto the main road trying to hit the passing cars... (I once knocked an old gent off his bike and was grounded for a while!), finding money and handing it in to the police (yes, really), going shopping with my dad to the one supermarket in town, food shops before freezers, our first "freezer centre", pyjamas, breakfast, Saturday sixpence... (you could buy Sports Mixtures for 4 for a penny (old penny)... (We used to pick them ourselves from the big box, blacks first, then reds until only the greens were left!!!), a bag of chips with scratchings on top (heaven), waiting for the pub to open (think about that one),

By the way, I was born in 1957 in Leicester UK

My mum was born down that way - Oakham. She married a mad Scotsman from the airbase and moved up here. The rest, as they say.
