Corrupt File

Ive just download sp1 from kazaa its a self exracter and when i double click to open it says the files is corrupt what can I use to fix this?? HELP

Go to microsoft & get your own SP1 file. All SP1 files are different, they are configured to your own PC, it only contains what you need.

Don't download updates for your computer from kazaa. It's a bad idea.

or download the .iso or .bin for Windows XP PRO SP1 intergrated if you hate your system right now and wanna fresh install with current SP1 already in it.

Installing SP1 for XP from a downloaded .iso or .bin is not inherently problematic, if you can get a good copy.
I've got it on CD myself, straight from Microsoft. You can even order it from their site, for a small fee.
Someone just ripped one of those discs, that's all.
There's nothing harmful about it, as long as it's bona fide.
