Not all of them are games, Aliens Vs Predator for example is only the source files for the game, and they won't work on Windows only Linux.

I think some third party ppl snagged the license for avp a while ago, so it's definitely not legal.

It rawkzors. And I think it was even included in Suse pro, that kicks arse compared to microsoft's collection of dullness you get with windows.

It might well be a full version, especially if it's been optimized, with the video compressed to divx and such.

Got a game from underdogs recently, and it was way smaller than I thought it would be due to better compression.

just so you know: Warzone 2100 doesn't work on Windows XP without SP2
