Im looking for a good puzzle game. some older favorites are Phantasmagoria, 7th Guest, and Myst. the newer CSI series games were fun. i cant find any more really good ones. suggestions? maybe your personal favorite?

Apart from doing all the usual stuff with the compability settings for the .exe, including turning off visual themes, I don't really know, as I multiboot, and will install it on another os instead.
But you can try what rossco suggests here.
And also try what is suggested here. For nemesis.
And try this for grand inquisitor.

In the worst case, I'll just have to install win98 on another partition. I just have to find a working serial (how hard is that?)

I got a win98SE original for my birthday, so I had to install it.
Everybody who likes classic games should have a multiboot system, anyway.
