replace images on a website?

Is there a way to do something like using adblock but instead of just completely removing a picture it can exchange it for another picture...

basically what i'm trying to do is make the google home page look better. it would load the image(s) from my computer so it would be faster too.

why not make a page on your computer, and add a google search bar to it, that may be the easiest way.
