Duties are not performed for duty's sake, but because their neglect would make the man uncomfortable. A man performs but one duty - the duty of contenting his spirit, the duty of making himself agreeable to himself.

    i have it on,
usually boots quicker with from hibernation.
but i broke it, system started hanging when it was hibernating.
but it works again now, so im usuing it again.

edit: it uses as much megs of hard drive space, as ram you've got.
e.g, if you have 256mb ram, it will use 256mb of hardrive, etc...

Turn it off. Save your HD space.

Turn off hibernation as it can be exploited and is a security risk.

ony ocasional fan if doing high cpu tasks.
or playing game, so it'll sit on all nite without a sound.

edit:if u turn of hibernation xp automatically deletes the files.
