Wasn't by choice, I moved to a place where at the time I had neither cable or DSL available. Brighthouse cable ( used to be Time/Warner) finally bought the cheap ass cable company the homeowners association had out here and upgraded the lines, then expanded them to the back of the division where I live. Funny thing is, 2 months later, the phone company made DSL available too
